A large number of people have shown interest in supporting the case financially and otherwise. Several solidarity committees have been formed across the world. Committees are urged not to accept governmental/political money.
Please note that the legal action in Belgium is pursued separately and independently from the activities of these committees, and the legal team in no way endorses or shall endorse these activities, however supportive they may be in many instances.
To donate to support the case, please use one of the methods below. Full accountability will be provided for all expenses and disbursements. For receipts for bank transfers, please send an e-mail with your name, address, and date and amount of donation to donate@indictsharon.net. Tax-free donations are currently not possible.
Donations to the International Committee for Justice for the Victims of Sabra and Shatila are used to cover legal fees, transportation expenses for witnesses, plaintiffs, and the lawyers, as well as other costs related to research for the case and the creation and maintenance of this website. The legal team worked in a pro bono capacity for several months before they were modestly compensated, thanks to donations gathered by various committees formed in Europe, Lebanon, and North America. Many people who have assisted at key stages in the development of this case have worked in a pro bono capacity, including member of Yale Law School's Human Rights Clinic.
